There are plenty of cool places in Rotterdam where you can go for a nice cup of coffee. But of course, all those options makes it hard to make a decision where you should go. No worries, we are here to help! We’ve been to a lot of great coffee shops in Rotterdam and decided to share some of the best spots with you guys. 1. Amada Coffee

If you’re looking for a unique coffee place in Rotterdam, you should definitely go to Amada Coffee. The coffee here is quite different compared to other places… It’s not the taste that’s different, but it’s the way it looks! At Amada Coffee you can get your own selfie printed on your coffee foam: a selfiecino! How cool is that?! Its done with a special printer and edible print. A unique concept that is definitely worth a visit if you ask us ;). Amada Coffee was actually the first coffee place in the Netherlands with this technique (second in Europe after England).

2. Cinta Coffee

Find the best coffee places in Rotterdam!Coffee with a Indonesian twist! Cinta Coffee is hidden in the pop-up store of INCONCEPT, located at the Coolsingel. At Cinta Coffee, which means ‘coffee lover’ in Indonesian, they make coffee with a special technique. This technique is called Kopi Tubruk, and makes your coffee extra creamy. Besides the delicious coffee, they serve snacks and lunch!

3. Altijd in de buurt

The owners Tobias and Roger were looking for a building for their own companies, preferably one with a small bar in it. When they found this building, the plans were changed a little, and they opened a full-fledged lunch spot. In addition to delicious dishes, you can also drink coffee here, made from Giraffe beans.

4. COPPI koffie en fietsen

A good cup of coffee while your bike is being fixed. No broken bike? No worries. Everyone is welcome at COPPI. Their coffee is made with fresh coffee beans from Stielman Koffiebranders and Schot Koffie, straight from Rotterdam. In addition, at COPPI you can enjoy both healthy and tasty breakfast and lunch! Definitely a unique coffee place in Rotterdam that is worth a visit!

You have all the types of coffee here that you can think of, made from ‘honest’ beans. The delicious smell of the freshly baked Hopper bread can not be resisted either. 6. NOC NOC

NOC NOC stands for Not Only Coffee, No Ordinary Coffee. At NOC NOC you can, you probably already guessed it, drink delicious coffee. They always have two different type of beans to choose from and they work with varying burners. In addition, you have other drinks such as tea, wine, beer, gin-tonics and whiskeys as well as delicious savory- and sweet snacks.

7. Heilige Boontjes

Heilige Boontjes works with a very special concept. (Underprivileged) young people from Rotterdam as well as ex-prisoners are given the opportunity here to work. The entire process at Heilige Boontjes is managed by these people who have not yet found their place in society. And you can find Heilige Boontjes in the former police station, quite ironic right?

9. Man Met Bril Koffie

‘Man met bril koffie’ is a real Rotterdam coffee brand. These coffee lovers are very passionate and take their coffee very seriously. They are well trained and go to the plantations themselves, have contact with the farmers, burn the coffee and then deliver it all by themself. In the meantime they have already won quite a few prizes on their name, so we would definitely recommend a visit!

10. De Koffiebar

In the middle of the city center you can find De Koffiebar. Here you can taste delicious Italian coffee from the high-quality coffee beans of the Italian family Buscaglione. These beans are pretty exclusive as the family is very picky with choosing the coffee shops that may use their beans. Do not forget to take a nice Italian pastry next to your cup of coffee to make the Italian experience complete.

  • Coffee with YOUR face on it is insane! Is it expensive? My brother in law bought us some amazing coffee from a great place in Amsterdam for Xmas- it was called fucking good coffee. He bought it thinking it was funny and then realised it was actually really GOOD.

    • Hi Cassie! The Selfiecino costs €4.50! They also have regular coffee for €3.50 so you actually pay €1 extra for the photo on your coffee haha! We’re curious about that coffee your brother in law bought you!
